I have always had a fascination with scifi. A Wrinkle in Time was the first book I read more than once. Eventually I read the whole series. I've been hooked ever since. Sure, fiction about the here and now is entertaining and all. But the possibilities for humanity are endless. Many things may be improbable, but not always impossible. Now with shiny podcasts and numerous blogs you can keep up with all the latest scifi rumors.

I enjoyed A Wrinkle in Time, but the Dune series by Frank Herbert (and after his death by his son and co-writer) have always been my favorite sci-fi series. Yes, yes I acknowledge musings of a giant worm/God made for a slow book (see final books of initial 6 book cycle), but taken as a whole, Dune blows everything else away.
This is my favorite blog ever!
